Payment Plans

Our office is committed to providing the highest quality orthodontic treatment that is financially accessible. We have many different payment options that can be customized to fit your financial situation. Once a treatment plan has been discussed and agreed upon, the Doctor will quote a fee for the services to be provided by our office. At the start of active treatment, a member of our staff will ask the patient or their responsible party (in the case that the patient is a minor) to complete a financial contract. Central MN Orthodontics offers several methods of financing service provided by our office.

• CMO Financing: Central MN Orthodontics offers an interest free payment plan. A down payment would be required at the start of treatment; the balance of the contract may be set up for payments on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis (this can vary depending on the length of treatment).
  
  If the patient or their responsible party participates in an employer-sponsored Flexible Spending program, payment plans may be set up so they can take advantage of those pre-tax dollars. We encourage you to understand the guidelines and limitations on your Flexible Spending account, plans often vary by employer and often change year to year.
  
  For your convenience, Central MN Orthodontics has the ability to automatically apply your monthly charges to your Visa or MasterCard. Coupon books are also available if you wish or we can send you a statement when money is due.


• Discounts: A discount is given on comprehensive treatments when the account is paid in full prior to treatment starting.
• Credit Cards: Our office accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
• CareCredit: Central MN Orthodontics accepts CareCredit as a method of payment. CareCredit is a separate line of credit that allows treatment to start immediately without a down payment and spread your payments out over a longer period of time.
  
  For more information about CareCredit or to complete a credit application, please call (800) 677-0718 or visit their website at www.carecredit.com. The application and approval process only takes a few minutes. Line of credit must be approved prior to starting active treatment.

Insurance

If you have insurance that includes orthodontic coverage, we would be happy to help determine the orthodontic coverage available for the treatment recommended.

As a service to our families, we will file all insurance paperwork, including predeterminations and continuation of treatment claims. If general orthodontic insurance benefits are paid out over the length of treatment, meaning if the coverage is lost or changed during treatment, benefits may terminate. If the insurance does not pay the full expected amount, you, as the subscriber, will be responsible for the unpaid balance.
