Before your appointment, please read the instructions below (en español).
Today, Governor Walz issued another executive order allowing elective treatments to begin as soon as next week. This includes orthodontic treatment - hooray! In the coming days, we will be working diligently to implement protocols that ensure our patients and team stay safe. We will provide continued updates as we have them, so check back here or on social media. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
We hope everyone is keeping safe and finding plenty of things to do to stay occupied! For anyone experiencing an issue with their braces, we've created several instructional videos to help you out. If those don't do the trick, scroll down for instructions on having a virtual appointment with Dr. Becky or Dr. Kyle. We're here to help however we can!
With Governor Walz's extension of the statewide stay at home order, we anticipate that CMO will continue to postpone appointments until at least May 4th. If you have an appointment scheduled before then, we will contact you to find a new date.
Also, if you are currently wearing a retainer but have a concern with it, check out the Retainer Instructions page. If those tips don't do the trick, we'll gladly schedule a virtual appointment to take a closer look.
We hope all our terrific patients and families are healthy, happy and enjoying their time together! Over the past couple weeks, we have enjoyed connecting virtually with a number of our patients. To schedule your own virtual checkup, check out the instructions in our 3/18 post below.
We miss you all and are anxious to resume normal clinical operations as soon as we can safely do so. Until we know when that will be, we will continue to reschedule appointments one week at a time. If you have an appointment that needs to be rescheduled, we will contact you and find a new time.
If you have a question, need assistance or just want to check in, you can contact our office by phone from 9am to 2pm Monday through Friday. Outside those hours, feel free to reach out on Facebook or Instagram. We want to stay connected!

Today, Governor Walz issued an executive order mandating that all non-essential and elective surgical and dental procedures be postponed for the duration of the peacetime emergency, which currently lasts through mid-April. If you have an appointment scheduled at our office during this time, we will contact you to find a new time for you.
The governor's order defines essential procedures are those necessary to prevent a threat to one's life or permanent dysfunction to the organs, including teeth and jaws. Fortunately, in orthodontics we rarely encounter such situations. While this means we will be unable to see you in person for the time being, we won't leave you hanging! If you're having discomfort, have a question about your treatment, or just want to check in, we are at your service. Read the post below to learn how to schedule a virtual checkup with Dr. Becky or Dr. Kyle!
Although our offices are currently closed, we're still here for you! Dr. Becky and Dr. Kyle will be holding VIRTUAL OFFICE HOURS from 9am to 2pm Monday through Friday. Let us know which doctor you need to reach by calling us at 320-255-1111 or dropping us a message on Instagram or Facebook. We'll give you Dr. Becky's or Dr. Kyle's number.
Wash your hands and then follow the instructions in the video below to take five pictures of you teeth. Text the photos to your doctor along with your name and questions. They'll let you know what you can do to keep you on your way to a fantastic smile!
The health of our patients, team and community is our top priority. Due to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 outbreak, our offices will be closed through at least March 31st, 2020. This is consistent with current guidance from the Minnesota Board of Dentistry, which recommends postponing non-emergent dental care for two weeks.
During this time, we will be working diligently to develop a safe and effective plan to safely resume clinical operations. If you have an appointment scheduled in the next two weeks, we will be contacting you to reschedule it to a later date. If you have an emergency and are in pain, please call our office and we will assist you.
For our patients who are currently wearing aligners, retainers or elastics, we want you to minimize the number of times you insert or remove them. Make sure you are washing hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds beforehand. If you prefer, you have permission to discontinue elastic wear in the interim. However, retainers and aligners should at least be worn at night to prevent unwanted tooth movement.
We realize this closure is an inconvenience. However, we want to take the time to ensure proper protective measures are in place in order to minimize potential exposure to and transmission of this virus. We are confident it is the right thing to do. Our aim is to keep you, our team and the community safe and healthy!
